7 Bikes makes one angry wife

So picked up a 69 CB350K for cheap with title.  Its rough but I got it for under $300.  Of course she thinks it a rust piece of #$%* and what was I think buying it.  Now I am in the dog house, oh well.  I think I got a pretty good deal, here are some pictures

Try the old(It's a investment ploy) and tell her if and when I sell it I'll will make a big profit ::) I forgot with all the bikes you've all ready got I bet you've used that line before ;D Oh well I guess your on your on. Good luck ;)

Under $300 bucks and a title and I'm guessing it runs, than you did alright 8)

Do  a quick sale on the 350 for $600 and she can see that you doubled your money and may cut you some slack.  She does not understand that motorcycles are like shoes to her you can never have enough pairs.  Might be smart to sell some off and they if you want a collection find a place to store them off site so you are not in the dog house.

Some guy near where I live has an 8x12 trailer for 800 bucks I am thinking of filling that up with all my parts bikes and storing it somewhere.  Just an idea.  Get creative.

Do what I did, wife didn't like the bikes so I got a new one, wife that is ;D.  This one likes bikes, and actually has more bikes than I do.

My wife #$%*es about the three bikes in the garage occasionally, imagine if she knew about the other 9 in the "bat cave"?!  She says I'm only allowed to have two bikes.....ha!

I did sell one a couple months back and put $200 in her hand, she quieted up for a while.

My wife, honestly, is 100% supportive of my garage doings. She hates seeing my money go into them at first, then once finished she appreciates the finished product.

I get some flak once in a while as I have 15 or so bikes. Basically when I need to buy batteries. Had 2 fail this month so she's saying, why don't you just swap them around ?? I said no.

My wife hated all my hondas until I got the first one running. I said lets go for a ride, she said where'd you get that bike? I reminded her it's the POS you were mad about two months ago. We can ride it anywhere, it's paid for and it's worth 3 times what I have invested. I pointed out a guy on a new bike and said I could have wanted one of those, he's got 47 more payments, we own all of ours. Now when people ask how old it is and what year etc. she smiles.

My wife and I have an agreement.

I can bring home any rust hunk I want, as long as it has a place with a roof over it.   Nothing in the yard.
Our bills get paid.
She can always park her car in the garage.
And, I say nothing about her shoe collection.

She's a keeper :)

I should sell at least one but I have a hard time letting them go.  The little CB175 on my profile I let go and really wish I didn't.  I got a nice CJ360 for cheap, which she was fine with.  The thing is to her it was junk and I should have passed on it.  She would have been some what cool with it if  it looked all shiny.

+1, Amen to that. My wife is definitely a keeper as well. My wife will even grab a lawn chair and set in the garage reading a book while I work on something just so she can chat with me.

A car in the garage. Really? Good for you!

That fight was a few years ago, no cars in our garage.  I have to scrap her car off in the winter though, fair trade.
