Fuel filter location?

Looking to access the fuel filter on my bike but dont know where its location is or how to access it......in the tank?.....above petcock??? Thank in advance

It's inside the tank. It's a mesh affair accessed by removing the petcock.

do you have to drain fuel to access it???? any special method???

Empty the tank. Undo the screws holding the petcock. No supernatural abilities required.   ;)

That's entirely up to you.  I've removed and replaced mine many times. I have had the odd leak a few times but these were corrected just by making sure everything was assembled correctly. Take pictures during disassembly to help reassembly.
