Need a little insight please.
Did a head gasket swap on my 1978 CB550k.
On reassembly, I noticed a inconsistency between the manual and my engine.
In the manual. It says to line up the notch on the side of the cam shaft parallel to the head surface. In the drawing/photo the lobe on the cam is pointed up (10:00) .. But as you can see in the photo of my cam. The lobes are pointed down... Have I done something wrong or are the 78 cams different from pervious years?
Any help or info is greatly appreciated.
