whilw working only water, its very humid and hot here. and some coffee shure. after that red wine, guinness and gin tonic. since i have my own bar at the beach thers also cocktails on the menue 8) 8)

A bar on the beach !!! Way to go ! I am envious. However I would not mix Guinness with either wine or gin, or both.

Cocktails on the beach would be nice, I might slip by and try your Margaritas !

Hey guys, we'd like to see some pics of the vat and the bar on the beach.

A logical progression could be Coffee ==> Beer ==> Wine

I would however have concerns for the quality of my work as we advance along that scale.
I have a rule, once the vat is open no more work with power tools, and no climbing ladders. For good reasons !!

Hey there steve o. My winter drink is any 12yo single malt ( no trader joes swill) but this photo is the basis of my summer. Do you have basements in AZ? 90 and humid outside, 65 and dry in the basement. Budweiser.

Southern AZ has calcium carbonate based layers naturally in soil causing a concrete like layer that requires sledge hammer or jack hammers to break through. The layer is 6 inches to foot beneath surface and can be a foot or as thick 4 feet thick...so, basements are uncommon. The erosion and flash flooding common do not make subsurface areas to be popular.

Did you see video of the flash flooding yesterday in Apache Junction?  Very impressive.

While working, nothing harder than tea or coffee for me.  I made that mistake many years ago whilst rebuilding an engine, I decided to install the rings and pistons after downing a six pack.  I didn't pick up on my mistake till a couple of months later when I pulled it back to bits because it drank oil like it was going out of fashion.  Turns out I was supplied the wrong rings, they were 20 thou too thin and fluttering in the grooves.  It was a simple rookie mistake which I would have picked up in a heartbeat if I were sober and a valuable lesson.  Never drink while working ;D.

Crazy thing is the media outlets repeat all the time during the summer monsoon season that it only takes about 2 inches of moving water in a wash or across/down a street to be able tlo move most any passenger car, truck or suv. So, despite this people have to be rescued regularly...
I will have to see if I can find a copy of this clip to see it.

Yeah, it was only a couple inches of rain but it dropped in 30 minutes.

Here's the aftermath....

Scalding hot Starbux Sumatra Dark & a nearly frozen Monster Assault to mellow out the bean juice.

My all time honest choice of days ago would have been ice cold budweiser & room temp quervo gold, all blended together with a left handed cigarette...... 8)
