Well after selling my 350 four I missed it. I recently went to my dad's buddies house to help him move out and saw a 1970 cb450 sitting in his garage with 2010 plates on it. Asked and handed him 400 bucks later that day. Though there is one issue, he says it's the stator. From my readings people say its the rectifier and that the stators rarely go bad. It will start with a charged battery but will die soon after due to a dead battery supposedly. Now I haven't gotten the title yet, that's tomorrow. I have to pick up a battery too so it's still to be determined if that really is the problem. Let's say that is the problem for now. I only know of one place to get either of those parts that I feel I can trust. The rectifier is $120 and the stator $170. That sure is a chunk of change for a hope guided purchase. I could buy the rectifier and the stator be bad and the old rectifier actually be good or visa versa. I would like some other input and opinions on this please and thank you. Other than that, new tires and it appears to pass my states safety inspection. It's also in much better shape than my 72 350f was when i sold it.
