need #38 slow jet

been checking around and want to make sure i get the right jets the first time,i need 4 38 slow jets for my 1971 cb750 klein carbs, dime city has some but not my year bike

just want to double check,going from 40 to 38 slow jet will lean me out at idle right

Keihin carbs.

IF the standard idle jet for your year of bike is #40, I see no reason to get a #38 jet.
It will just cause a high idle and other problems.
I would not do that. I would do a mixture screw adjustment FIRST.

#40mm WAS the stock idle jet.

Just sell the unneeded jets on Ebay or Craigslist.

Someone with a smaller engine with Keihin carbs can use them.

Ot just return them for the ones you do need.

You may need those #42's trust me.
