CB350 twin top-end gasket set.. which one?
« on: July 26, 2013, 10:02:17 AM »
Gonna have to pull the head on this 350 I've been working on to fix a stripped spark plug hole (I didn't do it!!). Has anyone had success with the Versah top-end gasket set? Does it come with everything you need?
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

Others might have suggestions but I always use Honda gaskets when I can.

Maybe the kit but a good head gasket from Honda? Just me.

Those Vesrah gasket kits are just as good as O.E. Honda gaskets..,just a little bit cheaper.I purchased a few yellow colored background Vesrah top end gasket sets on Ebay for my CB350 twin, they're good stuff but the head gaskets will only work w/ bores up to .75mm over.I bored mine to 1.00mm over & had to get a head gasket from Bore Tech.
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !

I have used several Vesrah kits and not had any problem.  The kit will not have any seals...Larry
