The bike really looks sweet!  I want to know if you did the tank.... Is it a stretched stocker?  I might have to make my own exhaust too!  mine is a 4 to 2 but I  really like the 4-4 look.  My exhaust collects in more of a horizontal fashion than the stock 4-4 might look cool though if I put megaphones on all 4 instead of the two cans I've got now.... hrmmm probably wain until winter.  Thanks for the inspiration

There is nothing better than a one-off CB750.  What's next?

Will go through some performance mods this winter. Eagerly awaiting info.....  8)
Also, a Grimeca or Fontana double sided, twin leading shoe front brake drum is quite high on my priority list.....

I knew those were stock pipes from the pic you showed with the ends cut of and the baffles hanging off. Will you have to cut them open again to remove or replace those baffles? At that point of the post,I didn't realize you were gonna paint em black.I do like the look very much though and also dig the custom heat shields.Killer work!!!! I might just keep my stockers after all.

Yup, will have to cut them open again if/when I want to repack the baffles....

No big deal, shouldn´t take more than an hour.

Will probably not do it anyway, as I have prepared the welded baffles to take ANOTHER baffle inside if needed...

These are the ones...

Have you gathered any info on engine mods? I'm also looking to bump my engines performance this winter. Thinking big bore, cam and head porting. From what I've found out so far, head porting is the best bang for the buck. and maybe a cam? I haven't got much feedback.
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

Right now it looks like I´m going for a ported head and camshaft.
Will probably use Megacycles 125-05 or the 125-NR.
The engine is  rebored to 2:nd overdimension and fitted with NOS Honda pistons and I just can´t afford doing it all over again  ;)

Should be enough to smoke that oily Norton that has left me for dead at the stoplights all summer long  >:(

Man, that is a sweet ride! For those of us interested in turning out750s info cafe racers, what would be some good do's and don't, helpful hints, and other things to look out for. Also, where is a good source to get cafe parts for the 750s? I know Carpy sells some at http://www.cb750cafe.com but was not sure if there are other good resources someone else knows of.

Thanks!

Do you mind if I ask where you found the louvered muffler baffles? I need a couple/four for my pipes.

Thanks!

Just bought some 1 mm perforated sheetmetal and hammered it into a tube.
Worked like a charm.
