Man if I found the holy grail of cb750's the last thing I'd do with it would be to sell it right after I bought it, I don't get that one...

I wonder if anyone on the Sandcast site has any idea where it went? Hew might still have it while details and bidders are sorted out.

I sent Hewitt a PM on July 20 asking if he had sold his one of a kind 69 sandcast or if he still had it etc. No reply back so far. Looks like he was last active on this forum July 9th.

I sent Hewitt a PM on July 20 asking if he had sold his one of a kind 69 sandcast or if he still had it etc. No reply back so far. Looks like he was last active on this forum July 9th.
I contacted him after the 4th as I was heading up north and he was going to do a photo shoot with Rick Brett at the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Was going to check it out up there but never heard anything back.

Hewitt replied back to me on the 29th saying yes he had sold it and it had went to the same fellow who had bought the other perfect one that was on ebay. Didn't go into anymore details than that.

Jeez now the new buyer has two very nice ones,must be somebody with very deep pockets !! That's impressive !  We need to get the SOHC detectives on it as we have inquiring minds.

That is some serious loot to be spending! As for me I picked up a K0 last night! She is rough but has some collectible Sandcast parts...
