I rode my 'Wang home from work today, and was most impressed at how it started with barely a touch of the starter button, after sitting in the compound at work all week with no assistance from my very impressive trickle charger that I usually have it connected to when I park it in my garage. Anyways, it warmed up quickly, and I set off for home in peak hour Melbourne traffic.
Due to it's mighty impressive girth, I deemed it unwise to take advantage of smallish gaps betwixt the cars that were queuing up to create annoying traffic snarls all the way home. I'm sure that my 'Wang was never designed for lots of "Stop/Start" work, but it excelled as expected. I did for a moment think that I had found a chink in it's armor for a moment, when I thought that the gearing in first gear was way too high, before I realised that I'd been taking off from stopped in third gear! How impressive is that? No stalling, no bunny hopping, or any other sign of difficulty from my "Black Knight", it has so much torque it just silently moved forward without complaint. Wow.
