I build motorcycle frames from scratch.
I would not worry too much about that slight bend.
You might be able to straighten it,

Here is how.
Get a piece of tubing or pipe that has the same inside diameter as the outside diameter of the frame tube. Cut the tube in half with a cut off tool.

Then you can clamp the two halves to the frame and it may help to straighten the frame.

Many road racing motorcycles with very steep rake like Suzuki's that have 24ยบ rake are prone to get into a wobble without dampners on the steering head.

I'm back! So I finally dug the ole girl out of the back of the garage... She has been neglected over the last year (untouched) thanks to ANOTHER incident last August. Went to take a union test near sf general, toward the end someone comes running in saying there's a someone hit a black and orange bike outside. My #$%*ing heart stopped. I run outside to find out someone backed into/partially over my baby. Dented tank, busted 1 of the brand new mirrors, busted my 3rd finned points cover, cracked a side cover, tweaked the front end, toasted half the blinkers... The list goes on. Of course the guy told me he watched the mini van do it, #$%* got out looked at my bike, hopped back in the van and tore off. Fml. Of course I was taking a 300 mile trip the next day...
Limped her home, spent the rest of the night band aiding the poor girl for the ride. Which she performed beautifully on... Only to bring her home and stash her in the back of the garage... Lost my motivation and I was in the process of rebuilding my shovelhead and painting my dads porsche, can only have so many projects going on at once, she needed to be easily movable so I could paint the car...

Well the harley got finished, so did the Porsche... Then I turned around and bought a 65 nova earlier this year... Now my time has been wrapped up in that, till last week that is when I got a bug and just had to dust her off. Almost a year of nothing, checked the points, drained and refilled the gas... Voila! Fired right off. Couldn't believe it. None of my other toys will do that! Put a few miles on her and decided its time to rip her apart... Mostly for cosmetics, now that I have the tools and the experience, it's time for paint! This will be a slow process as I'm still cleaning up and driving the piss out of the nova (it's just too much damn fun!) so look for more to come.... Eventually  ::)
