Hi Andy,
About version 1 :
- first picture, front cover, is very "pixelised"
- March : left picture, red CB750
- April : left picture
- July : a little bit "pixelised", but good result for an iphone pic !
- September : left picture, a little bit "pixelised"
- November : an example of perfect quality, neat, hi-res picture (and fantastic bike too !)
That's all ...

Patrick I checked and here is what I think - I think you bought version 1 revision 1 straight away (thank you) but since revision 1 I upgraded the remaining photos (I was waiting for people to email me the high res pics). The only one that was not upgraded was

April - left picture - this was the only photo the SOHC member had.

I did mention that I was going to offer the calendar for sale asap on 1 Jan as I wanted to get it out there but that revisions would be needed. I apologise if you missed that. I can send you a high res copy (final revision 4) if you can PM me your address.

thanks for the feedback!
Andy

Just got my 2 calendars - version 1 and the Andy750 special

Version 1 is superb with only April left hand pic not perfect but not bad either! 95% photos came out great! One is a little darker than I would have liked but still very scenic.

Andy750 Special -wow what a difference with the mono photos per month -huge and for the most part crystal clear! October (my pic) is not perfect but the overall effect is there. December a little darker than I would have liked (same pic as in Version 1) but still good.

Overall the Special is my favourite as its such big photos!

Buy one or more today!!

cheers

Andy, and everyone, thanks for putting this together!  Love the calendar! and it looks great on my wall at work.

Regarding work...
I hate to ask this...  and at the risk of being ostracized from this board - :) - is any chance there could be a version that is, how do I say, a little more workplace friendly?

Now, while I am a big admirer of the female form, and I can't stand the how the current US workplace has become a sterile, "pc correct", lawsuit happy environment.   I would rather not be the one at work testing the boundaries of my company's HR polices.

I do enjoy looking at the April March pictures (BTW, a big thanks for sharing to whoever submitted those), but I will not be able to display April March at work, as is.

Trust me, I'm a lecherous old man at heart.  But... I always try to conduct myself in a very professional manner at work.  I work with women on my team and I would not like to take any chances making them feel uncomfortable.

I can easily print out another picture and cover over the month of April March myself, but it would be nice to have a "work place" version of the calendar.

- OK... flame on everyone... I know it's coming :)

I know, sounds crazy, but I'm serious.

Yes... I meant March - corrected.

I believe it would be considered unprofessional to display the month of March at my work, and I suspect by any typical US fortune 500 company standards.  But it's really a grey area.  Whether or not it would bother anyone enough to complain to HR, probably not likely - but I don't want to find out myself.  Also, I've watched enough HR training videos to know that in the US it's not the "intent" that matters, but the "impact" - which, I think is crazy, but that's the way it is.

Additionally, as manager (low level - not bragging) I wouldn't feel comfortable having a meeting with a woman who worked for me with that hanging on the wall... it just doesn't seem right - just how I feel - maybe it's all those PC correct HR training I've watched :)

Yep, that will work... just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

And I hope no one thinks I'm complaining... I know this was a big effort and I really appreciate all the work that was done to put these together.

Kickstart - sorry but no more versions of the calendar are being produced. With regard to March the theme was women on motorcycles and each photo was chosen to reflect that:

1. Left pic -     MOONDOGNYC wife - I asked for his permission  to use the photo and he was proud to say yes. If I had a wife like that I would also be very proud to have her on a calendar. I dont think its sexist or demeaning when the wife agrees! It may/may not be workplace friendly but it wasnt designed for the workplace more for your garage.

2. Right lower - ScottS girlfriend riding the Dragon on a 400F - gutsy!

3. Upper right - classic photo for March of Baseball, a CB550 and an all American girl.

No one is exploiting or demeaning these women - they are in the calendar because they wanted to be. Mooshies (Lisa) bike is featured for Feb and plenty of guys (in person or their bikes) in the rest of the calendar. I was going for the all-inclusive calendar this year  ;)

thanks for the feedback!
cheers

March is going to be an iffy one for me at work as well.  However, I just figured I would paste a picture of my face on top of the existing left and upper right photos...perhaps HR will be too busy laughing to say anything. ;)
