Photo Of a 750F1 Tach?
« on: August 07, 2013, 01:25:06 PM »
Could someone please post a photo of a CB750 F1 tach face please?

I have come to realize that they are not all the same and I've mixed the old one with the one I intended to replace it with.

If anyone can help out a Jacka** who seems intent to learn it all the hard way I would really appreciate it.

Is it possible that the workings inside the tach could be different too?

The 75 F's are dark green. Edit: thanks to Jerry.

Insides are the same.

I think I may have a K face/tach in the mix and the location of the #'s is different.

So I run the possibility of having the tach say the engine is running at 3k rpm when it is actually running 4k...

It might be worth mentioning that the tachs are disassembled.

they should operate the same on either bike if they are both 750's

The 75 F is NOT blue. It is dark green. The 76 is lighter green.
