New project: 1978 CB750K
« on: August 07, 2013, 05:55:02 AM »
I am halfway new to the whole cafe scene but not new to motorcycles. I have been riding for 20 some odd years and have worked in several dealerships while learning valuable lessons along the way. I love to tinker in my second home ( the garage) and have been wanting to get back into a street bike on my college student budget. I was recently given a complete CB minus the motor, along with several boxes of parts. The photo with the gentleman on it was the first and only owner who has since passed. I am starting this thread to share my hardships and successes with others throughout this project. Maybe we can all learn a thing or two! Any help/ constructive criticism would be welcome!

There is an area of the board called 'Project Shop' which may be a better place to start this thread before it gets revved up since it could be a longer term event. Maybe the mods will move it over for you.
Good luck on the project, always nice to have history on the bike, not so good for the original owner though.
