framing the letter is a good idea, even the old harley riders compliment my bike, and mention how they either owned one or wanted one way back when. it's just the yuppies that don't get it.

Tell you what: park the bike at the show entrance, with a sign saying "CB750K0, the bike that changed the motorcycle world. Excluded to participate in this show because it cannot be categorized", along with their rejection letter. It must be amusing to see people's reaction when reading it.
Raul

Great idea, Raul.

I wenty to a 'show and shine' in small town BC a couple of years ago. It was basically a HD love-in with the odd metric cruiser thrown in for good measure. Also 'on show' was a brand new Honda Rebel 250, owned by a gal who had just started riding and who just loved her new scoot and wanted to show it off.

There was a category for 'peoples choice' or somesuch and the Rebel walked away with it.......

I guess the organisers shouldn't have let the public in to the show.

Fabulous sentiments kacey, but you frighten me a bit with the gimp-suit anology, kinda takes me back to "Pulp Fiction", (best movie ever made) after "Taxi Driver"...Raul, Goat, angelpena. Bugger, I threw the #$%*ty scrawled letter out in disgust but what a great idea. Yeah, I'll front, up front...Like I said, I really don't give a #$%* but it will be a good 100 mile round trip with some mates so whatever happens it will still be a good day out. Should be nice and warm by then, I'm still struggling with very low temperatures here but from what I've been reading about the USA maybe that's not such a bad thing. Ride safe, thanks for your input guys..!!

theiir loss.  and without a tinge of sour grape.  cuz we all know you'd rather be riding it than standing out in the "cold" displaying it to the local congregation of the church of harley.  And a rejection could be considered lucky, when (if invoking disturbing movies is ok) they likely could have accepted you only to lure you into the show for a "set the metric bike on fire" ceremony at the end.  sorry if i just ruined wickerman for you. (yes, also a fan of 70s film.)
Personally I can't see why you would enter into any competition.  you have already won bike of the month- what else do you need to tell you you have arrived.  just keep riding it like you stole it and there aint nobody that can take away from that.
were all winners here
