Topic: cylinder spacer Q?

I have the need to raise the cylinder block on the 836 motor. I'd like to add around .016" for piston to head clearance.  I understand the stock base gasket is .020 or so compressed.
 So, the question is, do I buy an .015 and an .020 base gasket and stack them or is there a single thicker gasket available?  I would like to go to a MLS head gasket too, many I've seen are thinner than stock (.040" or 1mm)?  so that could add to my dilemma.  Also where is best to obtain these parts?  APE doesn't list them by thickness.  I can't get the Cometic site to work for some reason.

Cometic will have different thickness viton coated steel base gaskets, available through several of the distributors. I'm quite sure there are options for MLS head gasket thicknesses too, but adding to the base is the way I'd go. One gasket is best but I have to stack two (viton/steel) to get what I need right now.

Cometic has available, but try calling a distributor, Ape or CycleX, you'll likely pay less.
