I am fixing up my old drag bike, and i will be racing it in valdosta georgia in november for the first time in 12 years. i hope to see Bill Benton and the rest of his crew there.

Just in case you are not aware, the Manufacturers Cup race that was at Valdosta has moved to Bradenton in Florida.

yes i know but sgmp is paying same purse and i ran bradenton in 79 won pro comp and would much rather run on good track ! 1030cc alky lots of boost

I doubt it Jerry unless it fits in with the big race at Atlanta. Haven't talked with Billy about it yet but could be persuaded if it fits in.

Larry, was that you that came by our pit at Valdosta with your grandson, we were opposite the Chris Hand pit?

yes sam that was us we will be running my bike and my brothers turbo busa and the honda has been way ouicker we were at sgmp at sring race they had abigger turn out in entries than cup race

thanks, jim just hope ican remeber how to tune it. the late great bill hahn did all the fuel system and i could alwasy call him for advice

yes jim i have known terry along time. i won 1978 idba championship and terry did in 79 . the turbo we run on my brothers busa came from terry

no, jay i still have that frame. my brother built this bike and handles great. i ran this bike a few times in pro star years ago . ran high sevens on a mild tune up on alky

It needs a hotter tune then and some NITRO, stick young Stottz on it and watch out Larry, there's another HONDA coming, and it's an OLD ONE.

sam i can always put some juice in it and tighten up the waste gate but win or lose at my age it dont matter i just enjoy the racing
