If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Beautiful! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Is there anything more fun than riding? They are between your legs and are quiet when you turn them off.

591 miles this past weekend on my trusty 1976 KZ400. Here, on the Tail Of The Dragon, then onto the Cherohala Skyway.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

How was the dragon?  I realized going to Barber I will go right by it, considering riding it, but don't feel like fighting the crowd with fully loaded Dorothy.

On a weekday in October, would you expect heavy traffic?

Nah, you'll be okay. In fact, it wasn't nearly as crowded as I thought it would be this time of year. BTW - the Cherohala is a much better road IMO.. about 50 miles of awesome sweepers! The Dragon is more of a novelty thing for me, but I could ride the Cherohala all day long. Did both 2-up last year on my '83 Goldwing no problem (just a lil' slow). Highly recommended!

We're staying in Lot C at Barber.. just look for the PseudoMoto banner. Slow races 7p on Saturday!!
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

I am at B at Barber, the plan is to be there Thursday night.

Cherohala looks like Skyline drive on steroids, thanks for the suggestion.

The K4 has been here before so this time rode the VStrom 2-up for camping this weekend in Northern Maine...went to Lubec by the Candadian border to see the most easterly point in the US

Of course we had to have Lobster roll in Maine - served by an American guy and his Thai wife

at this place -Winter Harbor

The most easterly point in the USA

and the non-SOHC shot...

cheers

Thanks Terry I think you would like riding here - wide open country roads and ocean drives. Just need to watch out for deer and moose!

More Oz pics please! I like the Beemer very nice how does it compare to your Triumph? (still got that?)

cheers

Couldn't have any better a day to ride than we had today in WI.  75 and sunny!  Pointed my 89 GL1500 North and went until I ran out of road... to the tip of the Door County Peninsula.  At the end of the road is a car ferry to Washington Island out in Lake Michigan (That's a trip for another day )  Thank God for Lake Michigan, it provides some interesting scenery here other than corn fields and woods. ;D
