That scout is magnificent! ;D
He is building a second one right now. The new one will have a springer front end, bigger tanks and some other changes. both of his Indians are using fairly recently acquired brand new 30.50 inch engines that were WWII surplus and both of them are using Indian Arrow frames. I'll post pics when he starts riding the new one.

Wow, I'd love to build an Indian starting with a brand new motor!

Budman,what year is your pan?

Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk

‘06.  It’s a wannabe panhead.  It has a Revtech fake panhead in it.  Basically an Evo in disguise.  It runs good though.  Had it for 11 years.

Very cool!  I made a run to the Hill Country a couple of weeks ago.  I was thinking about giving you a shout but it was a last minute decision.

All things considered we’re doing well.  I’ve had to learn how to take breaks from the house for my own sanity.  Been doing as much riding as I can squeeze in.  I bought a Road King.  I picked it up on Tuesday.  I’ll be riding pretty much all weekend.  I’ll post more pics from the road.

Took a ride this morning with my wife and some friends.  This was our first stop...breakfast...before hitting some country roads on the west side of Houston.  That’s my wife’s 883 Iron on the far left, me snapping my lid on next to my new-to-me 2010 Road King, a friend on his Yamaha Bolt and another friend on his Indian Scout (nice bike).  The Speed Triple and the Bonneville weren’t with us.

Wow, reading all those "Commando" comic books back in my youth really paid off, I actually understood Sarge's reply, even though I wasn't sure what Mike's question was......... (but I googled it, dirt roads were always a little scary on my two R100RS', because the bars were very narrow to fit in the fairing, it's much more enjoyable on my R1100GS) ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Beginners driving school for Autobahn and bawarian country roads. No boring 25mph signs before curves.

At about 1:00  you see, how we get bikes out of the garage.

That is great! Now I want to try that with my VFR, but I guarantee it will end up on it’s side.

a friend of mine used to do that with his R90S just to show off so i'd perform a similar maneuver with the GSX11 but keeping the back wheel on the ground and just bagging it up until it had done a 180 turn with the added bonus of turning a perfectly good back tyre into smoke
being a BMW rider he didn't see the funny side of it, just used to mutter about  'giving us all a bad name' and accelerate away in a respectable manner
i blame Terry

Non paved roads tend to create their own natural speed limit especially when their is no guard rail.

I rode my Harley to the Saturday morning donut shop gathering in the Pismo Beach area last weekend and ran across this early sixties Norton Dominator. Super condition! From there I rode on up to Cambria since the weather was so good. Lot's of fun!

Nice! 'Twas a cold winters day today, only 50 deg F, but sunny, so I took my dusty old Sporty out for a blat. Had a great ride, saw the "Ton" a few times and didn't get caught, so all in all, a good day. ;D

Nice bike.  I'm doing up a H1E at the moment. Hope it ends up as good as your A.
