A few years ago. Mt. Rushmore, somewhere up there just out of the pic. is George Washingtons face.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

A quick trip into the hills this morning (Victoria, Australia).  Beautiful weather, 23 degrees celcius with a cool Easterly breeze.  There's a 250 foot sheer drop on the other side of the H1A!  Recently, the bike had been losing some of its "pep", so I took out the old, dirty air filter and popped in a K&N filter I bought years ago. Pep restored!

Beautiful bike Trevor, as soon as the Z1-B's sorted I'll put the new Dunlop K70's on the T500, hopefully get a RWC (bit nervous about the expansion chambers) and get my club plate, and then we'll have to go for a ride. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

From the video you posted, those chambers are a bit tamer than a set of Dencos on a Kawasaki triple, so I think you'll be fine!  If my Bandit with a Megacycle can pass, I don't think you'll have any problems.

Very nice Kawasaki, the pipes look great.

One of the many good things on a two-stroke bike is the pipes dont typically rust out!
I have at least 5 "smokers" with original pipes.

That's what I like about 2 stroke exhausts.

Mine has the obligatory "acid stains" on the left hand pipe.  I really want a set of Higgspeed "low" chambers for it - not for performance, just for the looks!

Two-stroke pipes may not rust out, but they do coke up (not so much with modern oils)...

I know that the 2 stroke silencers can "coke up" and can be a pain to decarbonize. The people with scooters,etc.(non-chrome usually black painted)can cook them in a barbeque until they get red hot on the coals for a duration to fully 'crisp' the deposits which makes it possible to shock/strike the exhaust canisters and clear them of those clogs using compressed air later.I think that's a difficult process to maintain them;I realize it won't be good on nice chrome mufflers/exhausts such as you have on your very nice H1..

when i had vespas the acceptted cure for carboning up was block the small ens, pour a whole tub of caustic soda down the other end followed by a large amount of boiling water and stand ( well ) back, rinse and repeat until no more sh1t comes out, also handy for weed killing in the driveway ( not recommended doing this in the house, much jetting of filthy corrosive fluids all over the kitchen does not make you popular, not to mention losing the ability to breathe in enclosed spaces )

I can imagine that'll work well to clear those exhausts.

My cousin is an old ex-Suzuki dealership owner and chief (only) mechanic. He used to decoke OEM 2 stroke pipes with his Oxy/Acetylene torch. He'd  fire it up, shove the torch into the header and once the contents of the pipe started to burn, he'd turn the acetylene off and just use the oxygen, and it would take 10-15 minutes for the carbon and old oil etc to completely burn out.

I put the Titan Performance pipes on my bike for much the same reason as Trevor wants higgspeeds for his Kawasaki, I love the sound and the look, but my OEM pipes look like they were dragged down the road for around 500 miles, then stored in a bucket of water for 30 years. They're probably salvageable, but if I don't have to use them, even just to pass the Roadworthy Inspection, I'll be happy. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Yep.  I had found those and bought them. He begged me to sell them to him. I did. They are quite rare.  They fit his bike better than mine.
