Yes, I built it. it’s an xs650 with a 750 big bore kit. - always loved the triumph Tr6 so I decided to build a knockoff so to speak. If I had a real one(if I could afford it) I’d certainly beat it to death driving it where I plan to take this.  Built it to ride the back roads/dirt roads and up the beach (we have miles of beach dunes and coast line you can ride here).

The Yamaha 650 is a good solid engine, better than the Triumph. ;D Where are you?


In California, on the central coast.
I grew up in Santa Maria, and the only place I know of in CA where you can ride on the beach is Pismo and Grover beaches. 8) 8)

My youngest went to CalPoly San Luis Obispo, beautiful motorcycle roads everywhere down there.

I know many don’t agree but the 75 Wing is a great looking bike

Wings when not chromed are nice and SLO is my favorite vacation area, it has it all and the trip tip sandwiches in area and tri tip steaks that McLintock serves are phenomenal!

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

Yes, a 750 Morini would've been a great bike, and a great contemporary to my 750GT.



That said, the little 350cc twin punches well above its weight, and only has to move a 325 lb. bike (plus rider and gear of course).  It is a FUN little bike to ride.

I very much enjoy the sound and character of my various motorcycles, especially the vintage ones.    But, there is something magical about the vibration-free silence of the electric-converted vintage Vespa P125X, and the only sound being the wind.   I usually use it as my errand running vehicle, but, this evening, I took it for a pleasure ride.
