Did about 60 miles yesterday exploring back roads, bike hasn’t skipped a beat in all the years I’ve had it, still makes me smile after a ride.

2006 Heritage Softail, fresh off the showroom floor. Got 60,000 on it, all mine.

First bike I ever owned, got it at my 50th birthday.

Very nice CL77, I love the CL 72/77. Brings back some great times, I can still hear that unique sweet sounding motor purr.

Well done mate, it lloks great and 60,000 miles in 16 years is a bloody good effort too! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

First proper ride since doing a full engine rebuild on my 1976 Morini 3 1/2 Sport.  Bike ran really well.  I love the flat "blat" of the exhaust - the 72 degree V twin & Heron heads makes for a unique sound!

I very much enjoy the sound and character of my various motorcycles, especially the vintage ones.    But, there is something magical about the vibration-free silence of the electric-converted vintage Vespa P125X, and the only sound being the wind.   I usually use it as my errand running vehicle, but, this evening, I took it for a pleasure ride.

Nice build!

I see quite a few EV builds being done with these. SSC sells a super easy bolt on kit that many have been pretty happy with.

For me, you’ll have to pry the ring ding ding of my Lambrettas outta my cold dead hands hahah.

Other bikes are fun, but I’m at home on a lambretta.

This particular one is an SX.

I’ve had far too many over the years (as well as vespas).

I've been putting some miles on my 84' Honda Sabre 700. It has a great motor. I bought my first one in May of 82' and the current one is an 84'. I have the Hondaline sport touring set up and I've changed the fork springs and installed a CBR1100xx Blackbird shock in the rear. It is a great all-around bike with around 80hp after a couple tweaks. It pulls all the way to the 10.5k rpm redline.
It will do long rides or go to the store. It has a low center of gravity and a low seat height. I keep the Sabre pointed at the door during the winter months, around here you never know when a nice day will show up.

I like that Hondaline touring fairing, could it have been designed by Vetter?

Nope it's a Honda design. They used it on a few different bikes like the V65 Sabre, 900F and the CBX.

Comfortable looking Sabre. Bags and fairing look just like my latter year CBX.

A friend of mine who owned one of those and an earlier model CBX also always felt that the later ones were superior going down the road as far as suspension and other details.

Riding around smoky eastern Oregon -

A few miles west of Vale -

East of Burns -

Camping south of Paisley on a dry lake bed -

A couple of old gas stations/stores south of Paisley and at Valley Falls -

Sand dunes off US395 -

Finally got some relief from the smoke around Drewsey -
