It looks great. I had a Laverda 750SF and it was a dog, but I always wanted a Jota. I've only ridden one once, and it was in pretty poor condition, so it didn't impress, but of all of the Italian bikes of the era, they were probably the best.
I saw a few over here in early 80's.
Engine had a tough hard sound. The cooling flanges looked cool.
A Jota would have been nice as long as the gear shifter is on right side which is left.
Brake pedal on the right.
I know a guy who rode his from Perth to Melbourne in the late 70s, put it on a container ship bound for Chile, which was rerouted to Venezuela. He rode down, this is in Bolivia. He's still putting on a lot of miles on his two Laverdas. Another guy I recently met bought a 750 SFC at Mecum for $65K, which is insane to me. He has an American Eagle badged 750 and an orange Jota, both immaculate.
I now have the Suzuki GS1100E with left shift, Norton with right shift, one up, 3 down, and the Lav with 1 down, 4 up on the right. Gets confusing!
