This is one ugly bike.  There are many Arlen Ness bikes that are hideous but this one would be considered a factory offering (Victory) and not a custom.

As ugly as every other bike in that mould IMHO.

A local guy once tried to sell me a an absolute butt ugly 70's sumtin Yamaha TX750 twin, was even willing to throw in 2 spare engines. What made it so ugly was a PO had painted the entire bike pink except the engine with blue high lights. Frame, rims even the fork tubes. I was curious to see why he wanted to get rid of it so bad so I looked it up and found that they were basically a pieces of junk even when they were new.

The TX750 was an engineering disaster, which was a shame as they weren't an ugly bike "back in the day". On my way home from school one day, I sat on my bicycle, fascinated, and watched one vibrate across the sidewalk on it's centre-stand and fall into the gutter, as it's owner and the Yamaha dealer almost had a punch-up. It's owner wanted his money back, and the dealer wasn't prepared, apparently, to grant him his wish.

I had the opportunity when I was 17 to buy either a Ducati 450 "Silver Shotgun" or a Yamaha TX500 for 450 bucks. I took the Yamaha. Nowadays the Ducati is worth 20 times (plus) that amount of money, and the Yamaha (if you can find one) is probably still worth around 450 bucks. Interestingly, the Yamaha, even though it had it's faults, was probably better engineered than the Ducati, but you buy a Ducati with your heart, and not your head................... ;D

These are pretty awful:

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

What you seen was an TX or SX650 vibrate like that, my brothers will do that.  The TX750 had an internal balancer and was a very smooth running twin,(I have owned two of them), and a pretty nice bike overall.
The 73 model  had issues with the oiling system that was a serious problem. It was fixed for the 74 model, but by then the damage was done and they sold very few and discontinued them.

And just in case anyone missed it, the original post on this subject is for ugliest "factory" bike.  We have all seen really ugly bikes that people have made themselves,(I have one).

So in that spirit I ad, that most everything BMW and Moto Guzzi ever made to the list.

I do agree they are cool and I would own either or both if the right deals came along,(and if I had room in my garage).

I sold my last TX750 last summer for $2000. Paid $500 for it a few years ago, did some basic maintenance and road it for a while.  Probably would have kept it, but because they made them for such a short period of time, there are very few parts available for them. Decided to let it go well I still didn't need anything for it.
