ha!not long chris,yeah its forecast rain maybe,hoping not,the car park is every bit as good as the actuall show,this year im phoning for a delivered pizza though,the catering was crap last few times fairdinkum,they even had worn faded and tattered aussie flags flying on the filthy bus/truck van kitchen things,if your going to fly a flag make it a decent one like you actually care,i was going to say something but didnt want to start a discussion at an otherwise great day out.,you want an arm wrestle chris?

Haha...maybe we can take a rug and pull out the picnic set, a few sandwiches and thermos. Arm wrestle? Sure, but I'm sure you will win. I have girl hands. Not as rugged and strong as yours. Need to tinker on the bike more.

there will be at least a thousand bikes,i plan to take an easy ride(for want of a better quote?)as the cops will be all over the place etc,theyve been good all other times ive gone there,and you really have to be doing something dumb to get stopped,if you get stopped your getting booked.

well, not a bad show at all, meet des today , i was ken and fingers crossed i will see you again at your meeting spot  at the pub in sep,  i see the earlier threads about the police presence, on the way in seen 1 bike getting a ticket , you should be able to guess what type, anyway heres my bike again so you can put a face to a bike,

When were you there Ken.? I was in and out all day. The bottom pic is Des's kitted 750 with Henry Abe wheels next to Owens {frostyboy's} orange 550...

id say around 1pm at a guess, there was des and 2 other chaps there, i was the chubby fella with the teamoto cap on with a grey goattee. we talked about club / single seat rego which im very keen to get.

Ok, I was there for about half an hour round 11 0'clock chatting with Des, he's a nice bloke, then went past a few times and stopped and spoke with Owen, there was too much to look at...

your not wrong about being alot to see, i didnt even go out to the carpark for a look, i had seen enough, thats the 1st time ive been there and it was a lot bigger than i thought it would be,

Dave500 a friend of his and myself went out and had a look through the car park, nearly as good as the show itself, Thousands of bikes and most were very nice, good to see lots of older bikes there. We watched a twat on a Harley try and be a hero, givibg his bike a big rev then letting out the clutch on the grass, he was instantly out of control, legs flying every where, he managed to go through 3 rows of bikes without hitting anything, pulled up about 10 feet from the fence, then hopped off, looked around and walked off {needing a change of undies} as if nothing had happened, wish we had that one on film.....

Saw much the same thing at a show down here, nfi. And it was a road safety show ffs.

Funny thing is Pete, if the twat mentioned had gone 2 feet either side of where he'd been he would have done 100 grands worth of damage, although they were just about all Harley's so it wouldn't have been too bad...

we actually arrived in a car , anyway there were about 8 or 9 bikes in front of us and we were all stopped at the lights , only 1/2 a k or so from the show, anyway this nitwit on a harley at the adjasent lights got the green light and hammered it just to show off and was pulled up about 250 meters or so directly in front of him by the cops,  you couldnt have googled a funnier outcome,   he will most likely book his bike in next week at the dealership because he got a speeding ticket.
