Throttle link arm screw and nut
« on: August 12, 2013, 06:01:38 PM »
Hi
Just finished a complete rebuild of a 1977 CB 750 K7, and when setting throttles in the carbs I noticed that the nut that locks the adjustment screw up on the link shaft that goes through all carbs is worn, threads are gone. Anyone know the part number for these small bits? I know there are link arm assemblies around, but would need just the nut and possibly the screw.
Thanks for any input :)

Just tap to the next convenient size with matching bolt or screw.

Unless you want to take apart the lifter arms, and replace bushings etc.,.
If you do that, contact me or do a search for my info on where to get new PTFE bushings.

Thanks, but found a link arm with screw, nut and all other bits and pieces in place over at eBay for 12 USD, a good deal, now I have spare parts too :)
