Where was that !&#$ thread?
« on: August 12, 2006, 06:18:50 AM »
Hello to all and my first post with a Q?
I'm trying to freshen up the clutch on my 750-K1. Got everything apart ok...rings are within specs. I'm replacing stock with barnett springs. When I was tightening the clutch lifter plate, I broke off the one of the "tabs"  >:(
About 2 weeks ago, I was reading a thread on the exact same situation and how to prevent this from happening.  (I know enough to tighten in a pattern with 1/2 turns). At any rate, I can't seem to find that thread again to refresh my memory. Any tips or help to find that thread would be a great help to me.

Ain't that something?? You can go back 10 pages in this Forum, and the threads are only from 9 days ago...   :o

I never seen a Forum build up threads so fast...   ::)

I was thinking the very same thing. This is the most active forum I've found on the 'net for any subject.
