1972 CB 500 top tree problemo
« on: August 18, 2013, 04:59:38 PM »
So this is apparently what happens when a PO try to add redicilously long forks to a bike. So, if these are truly cb500 trees, which I believe they are, what top trees will have the same fit and offset other than the cb500's ? Don't care about gauge mounts.

550 will fit but it was not long forks that broke it, it was the lack of the special washer in the slot so the clamp bolt can not be tightened too much
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
