Ya know Lisa, there is some nice riding in your back yard. Have you considered a day trip up 33 to 166, and exploring all the side roads off 166?

Absolutely.  I do that ride all the time.  And some other fantastic ones off the 154.  One PZ is here I will take him on a tour of the Central Coast.
DO you know who will be mailing him to me?  I need to get my address to them (obviously)

Hi Prokop:
Done.  Can't want to ride around with PZ again (of course when I had him he wasn't dressed in his finery).

He looks kinda sad and introspective.  Maybe his pimpin' days are over.

He doesn't like windshields.  Beautiful country there, Prokop.

PZ made it safe and sound to California yesterday.  Here he is enjoying the CA sunshine.

Over Thanksgiving off he goes for a short jaunt to Northern California and Skaggs Road.  I will be certain to send pictures from the route.

Thanks Prokop for shipping him off to me.

looks like torrential CA rain (that means anything above a drizzle) will stop my ride to Northern Ca on Friday (I refuse to ride 6 hours in rain that will run from one side of CA to the other).  So PZ and I had a conversation last night and he wants to visit Gorda CA for a scenic view and then back toward Paso and some lovely twisty roads where he will not have to be subjected to anything except sun.  I readily agreed and off we go.  Northern CA will be in December some time...

Took PZ on a short ride since rain canceled Northern CA ride.  Took the 192>154>CA 1>Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd (wonderfully twisty) back toward Paso Robles and home.  Here are some pics

We stopped at San Simeon because PZ wanted to see the Zebra donkeys
Here is what he was looking at:

We then went toward Gorda, CA and to Nacimiento-Fergusson Road

And this was what we saw at the top of the road.

OK... updated Barber photo with everyone's handles listed at the bottom (I decided to stick to just handles).

Let me know if I got everyone's handle right.

That one is a 'framer' fpr all the participants. I have a framed picture of myself, Sean Barney, MJ Stone and our bikes taken by Dennis (Old Scrambler) at his home in Wisconsin the morning we left for our final day of the Lake Michigan circle in RR #1 in 2011.

Hi, all.  I have been out of commision for this relay/rally  I was required to be at work much more than I was in the past due to retiring in July, then my Mom started chemo treatments again that takes up a lot of my time.  THEN on top of that at the first of Sept. I had an accident on my Aprillia Scarabeo scooter on the interstate.  I survived (as you can see) but had some brain injury and the road rash was unbelievable. I am still not healed up and my mom is still taking chemo.  I am glad to see that PZ or what ever this one is called is making its way across the country.  hopefully next year I will have more ability to get involved.  I really missed it this year.

Good news bad news, huh. You're still with us but you won't get your usual 50,000 miles a year in LOL. Heal well. My healing is pretty much done. See you on the road when I get something in rideable condition. Sure miss the Harley!
