Yup, saw it. Not quite as photogenic from my backyard.  ;D

Nice shot. What camera did you use?

Just goes to show you, you don't need a gazillion megapixel camera to take a nice picture. Now the camera makers would beg to differ, but then they are into trying to sell you the next "greatest" camera.  ;) I'm a luddite who still uses film but I'm not a digital hater either. I occasionally still use Nikon D100 (only 6MP) which is ancient by current standards, but all my old Nikon glass mounts to it just fine.

I saw it, but I did not bother with a camera. I just pointed out the lovely sight to the beautiful woman I was with in a rural area on a height outside the city of Nimes.
I will let you guess the rest.

That is a great picture.  The lighting conditions that allow you to get some deatil in the moon and also a properly exposed background don't happen that often.  When you do see it is is often photo manipulation. We just returned form a north country sailing trip and had brillaint skies for the Perseids meteor shower.  Saw the space station fly over two nights in a row at the same time.

yup , Mt.Baker . My inlaws have a 50 acre spot in the country, It was a farm, now its a Vineyard. I have rolling fields at my disposal with 2 quads and a new cr230. Awesome. And that view. Nothing like it back east where I am from. Now that I am here, I wont go anywhere else.
