Hello from Hungary
« on: August 23, 2013, 08:57:05 AM »
Hello Everybody!

I'm Gabor from Hungary.

I don't have a Honda yet, but I'm currently looking for one. I'm not new to motorcycles, nor older bikes - I've been riding for ten years, started with East German machines, later switched to Hungarian made Pannonia bikes (type T1 from 1961 and an other T5H from 1972, same 250ccm 2T engine, I restored both machines).
This June a guy in a car didn't gave me the right of way, so the 1972 "daily use" (maybe I should say weekly use, my work schedule and commuting on public transportation leaves barely enough time to ride once or twice a week) bike was totaled, so I decided to switch to something better, but not much newer.

I'd like to thank all of you for the useful infos on this site - I registered to say this, and I'll be more active when I get myself an "ontopic" bike.

Thank you.  :)

Welcome, Gabor!

How did you like MZs?  Pannonia reminds me of Jawa a lot, btw, I am originally from Prague - maybe thats why:)

Or it both started by copying DKW?
