The '78 carbs are a pain in the ass... I think that there must be something wrong with me. Actually, the PO put them on, I am getting a different carb setup next spring. Here is what they look like:

The one set of air filters look some what similiar to British air filters. I think they way the carbs angle out that old Bonnevlle style would really be fitting. JMHO

Theyre 500 bucks, come with carbs,extra jets, all mounting hardware, boots, throttle, throttle cables, and pre jetted from him (he asks you what yer running, altitude, etc, before he sends em out..)

Well hell....when you said you had 78' carbs, I assumed you meant stock.You got those trick ass twin Mikunis.I don't know how they run but I like em'! Is there a reason why you want to replace them?

I think that there is some confusion. I have stock '78 carbs and I am getting rid of them for the trick dual carb set up. Hope that helps. I posted a picture of the dual carb set up so that you could see what I was talking about. I can see why you were confused, this thread is jumping all over the place.

Never mind!!!! I went back to the beginning and see that you don't yet have those carbs but are getting them.Hell yeah....they are way cool.I haven't heard of anybody running them but I bet they are alot easier to adjust!!
