That is seriously beautiful! The rear end really is well done ![Wink ;)](http://forums.sohc4.net/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Would you mind posting what all you did?
Im interested in the paint color and what type of application it was?
Thanks.
The only thing that I didn't do to the bike was the paint. I did all of the body work on the side covers and gas tank. I cut the rear fender just above the point of where the rear brake light would mount. I cut the fender long to see how it would look and if I didn't like the shape I would cut off another two inches, but I left it long because I like how it turned out. I also have the other piece of the fender and it also fits, but is a bit shorter. I can interchange the two if I wish.... Just for something different.
I did so much mechanical stuff to the bike that the list is very long. Let's just say that I would work on it several days and evenings per week since I bought it in May. I have put close to $2000 into the project, not including the $700 I paid for the bike. My Yoshi exhaust will be $1000 and will arrive the middle of Aug. and my cafe' seat will be close to $400. So that jacks up the investment to $3400.
The engine is now a Wiseco 836cc with 10.25:1 compression. IT RIPS!
I have a Dynatek electronic ignition with Dyna coils.
The carbs are from a '78 CB750.
I installed a K&N filter, but I will most likely be going to pods in the spring.
The paint color is called platinum denim (metallic) and it is a HD color. The paint was applied by a professional at a paint shop with a down draft booth and climate control. There are four coats of sealer primer, six coats of paint and four coats of a low gloss clearcoat.
