So why are you running 78' carbs? I thought they were the pain in the ass unadjustables? Anyhow ,it's a real sweet lookin ride and I am going to nominate it for bike of the month! Maybe again after the yosh & seat.

The '78 carbs are a pain in the ass... I think that there must be something wrong with me.  Actually, the PO put them on, I am getting a different carb setup next spring.  Here is what they look like:

Thanks for the nice words.

I ordered these, should be here soon. Will let you know how installation goes.

The one set of air filters look some what similiar to British air filters. I think they way the carbs angle out that old Bonnevlle style would really be fitting. JMHO

LOVE the bike! Silver the new flat black?

I'm glad someone is finally getting those carbs/manifolds. I've always wondered how well they actually perform. Keep us updated!

Must not drool on keyboard. Must not drool. That is a mighty fine nod to all things right about these bikes. Very era honest.  I like the 2/1 pipes. Makes it look jaunty AND spiffy!

I like it when dudes beef the mill up, not just cosmetics.
Respectable
Thanks.
I still have my 1984 Duane Peters deck.
I wish I had virtually any deck from the 80's.
I used to be a semi-pro boarder back in the day. I was sponsored by Powell, and a few newer companies you "older" guys might not know of  ;D
This is the best board I ever had. I actually have a warped/factory reject one that was made into a clock still in my room..
Glory days , and I am only 26 !

Nash, Hobie, and the Sims Lonnie Toft. I was more into downhill and braking my arm. Always wanted a slalom board.

I think that there is some confusion.  I have stock '78 carbs and I am getting rid of them for the trick dual carb set up.  Hope that helps.  I posted a picture of the dual carb set up so that you could see what I was talking about.  I can see why you were confused, this thread is jumping all over the place.
