Mike: Looks great and all that, but...

Is this the million dollar CB, or is that something else?

Electrics...

Any chance you can explain whats going on under there? I see a few items that definitely aren't OEM...
Branden..there are relays for the coils and horn. The main fuse has been seperated from the fuse box and is a blade unit. The new Rec/Reg has been mounted under the battery box for more exposure to air. The power lead from the batter to the starter solenoid is from an FJ1200.....much heavier. It also has a lead if you wanted to attach a switched accessory (horn relay etc).

Thanks for the reply Mike. I am starting to plan out the electrics for my K4 and never thought of mounting the R/R under the battery. Definitely a good option to think about.

There have to be a few out there running as I've sold about 25 of them. They are all over the place...Switzerland, France, England, Canada, USA, Australia etc. It has a lot of torque....roll ons on the highway feel really good....it goes from 80 to 110MPH quickly. ;D

I've been told there is a 1000 classic bike modified class at Bonneville Mike. I have an APE 1000 to build. Bill just said he wants to come here and he has a little of everything. Sam NEEDS to come here. You have the ultimate 1000 now. Olld Scrambler will be bringing a 750 class modified bike..........

There were 3 750 class SOHCs this meet running up to 125. 1 DOHC 750 kitted to 900 with CR31s I saw running the 1000 modified class. Only did near 120 and had nitrous. Also lots of beer and CHEAP Mexican food ie dinner for $5.95 plus casinos and other stuff 40 miles west in NV.

This is pretty awesome plus the BUB7 Streamliner only did 330 this year. Fastest bike first 4 days was a BMW at 220. Made the busas look bad. 200+ runs commonplace.

Meet you guys here next August! Oh yeah, I'm stopping by Millers tomorrow for the AHRMA races.

Sounds pretty good to me Jerry. A 1000cc modified vintage class sounds pretty interesting. Problem is the Kawasaki's and Suzuki's with their big valve heads. :(

Dennis upped the class record by ~16mph to 89ish. Hung out and crewed with Dennis, Dave and Grasscutter Zac. That rain happened just after the tear down and engine verification for the record books. Finished loading up then hell broke loose. The Salt Flats instantly turned into a lake. FN crazy! Everyone else is gone but I'm hanging out to do the casino thing. Did the Wells thing this afternoon  ;D Stopping tomorrow at Millers for AHRMA weekend.

Mike, more new bigger stuff than 70's. Fill the void and get more SOHC4 members in the books. It would even be a write off for JMR Heads! Saw one kz750 in tear down. Not sure but it may have been in 750 class. Gotta take a look at the bikes/numbers and what year the classics go up to. Ambush them bastards! I'd bet Kenny could regear his quarter miler too.

I can see it now TEAM CB750 BONNEVILLE AhhhhSALT ATTACK

Sam Bill you boys wanna party?
