A ex show bike find cb750 digger
« on: August 25, 2013, 07:51:26 PM »
So I bought this 2 weeks ago it was a old show bike the po didn't like the paint so the dumba$$ painted flat black. This bike was very well built the chrome on this thing is immaculate. The engine is very nice the guy said it leaked oil real bad and the carbs spewed gas everywhere. the head breather cover wasn't sealed properly the hose from the valve cover was missing and the oil lines clamps where loose. I tightend every thing up, cleaned the carbs and everything is good now. Adjusted the cam tensioner today. The original builder/owner had a lot stuff chromed cam chain tensioner cover, carbs, oil pan ect ect. It has all the finned  overs including breather and starter covers. It has some old Morris wheels 19" front dual disk and a 15" rear disk. Double spring girder front end custom electric  box has a reg/Rec combo (it's  a old energizer brand which works good). Comes with some henry abe style forward controls My intentions are to make my chopper better with the parts from this. All the chrome extras are what I was after. Today I brought it back to life. I'm going to paint it something I hate like red so I won't keep it.

That has a girder, not a springer. Can you get a pic of the rear or both wheels.. Morris did not make a 15 for a time C&G i think it was made a similar wheel in maybe 15.. Many months back..

I'm sorry 754 what I meant by double spring is that instead of the one shock it has two all the girders I've seen just had the one in the middle. And both rims are Morris thy both have the Morris stamp on them. Actually I searching wheels to see what brand they where and came across a old post on here and there was a picture ( (i believe it was a old post of yours??). Showing just the front wheel. Here's a few more pics of the wheels and front end. I'm not into girders front ends that's why I called them springs don't know much about them.
