My bike is blowing fuse still, so no updates

Still?   Sounds like you might have a wire grounding our against the frame?

I blew my main fuse many times and what fixed it was using a dremel bit and lightly sanding the fuse holding clamps (BY HAND....NOT WITH DREMEL).... Just twist it in your fingers and it will remove any corrosion and you'll be back in shape :)

After 4 fuses, I have narrowed down to starter button getting shorted. Haven't have time to work on it after that.

Sorry for being off topics.

When the OP says,
"Actually, I told you wrong on the needle height, it's the stock position which I believe is the 4th from top.  The last person that touched this adjustment (needle) was the Honda shop in Toledo 2.5 years ago, so I'm sure that all settings were stock except my stated mains (105) and air screws (1.25 turns out vs the stock 1.5). "

I am not convinced he actually took the carbs off and checked the needle position.
I do not care who worked on it in the past.
As a mechanic I only deal in actual facts.

The coupling nuts between the air filter body and the snorkel top is working well..... Still no sputter and less lean backfire now..... Nice pull through the throttles and of course very fast :)

Plugs look good but cylinder 1 plug looks a little lean compared to the rest... :/ a lot of fuel in the bowl when I've pulled it.... Hmm when I've sprayed carb cleaner around boots there isn't an increase in rpm

Been running the piss out of my MGPWerks all stainless pipe on my 550 and have learned some important things.

My jetting isn't relevant, as I am running CR's with my custom filters.

As stated before, you HAVE to check the float level. I got brand new CR's and slapped them on-$800 carbs, the floats have to be right.......................right? Had a tuning gremlin I couldn't chase down my first week running, then checked the floats. They were so off it was crazy.

The best exhaust gaskets for the pipe are those cylindrical hollow copper ones (mine are Vesrah). I have pulled my pipes 4 times in the last year, and the copper ones seem to definitely work better. You cannot re-use them IMO (some may disagree I suppose) as those pipes have a very small wall thickness and dig a narrow "groove" into the gasket. If you re-use/re-install the pipe you ill invariably not get it exactly at the same position and will get an exhaust leak.

I have been really playing with this neat motor, and have torn it apart quite a few times tweaking stuff. Anyway, I love the pipes.

Good to hear.  I'm jealous, I want one real bad but just spent a mint on stock style pipes for my Kaw Z1.  I'll get one though...

It was really difficult to tune for me though but I think it has to do with it's sectional design with spring attachments that sorta causes a little trouble over a solid single pipe

I need to hear your bike! I'm looking into getting an exhaust and some Race Tech emulator valves for my forks this Winter.

What is the difference between the MAC 4-1 and your exhaust?

Do yourself a favor and have it professionally ceramic coated inside and out. It will perform better and stay beautiful for a very long time.
