LOL Honda Odyssey's are nice mini vans Steve! Plus 90 isn't that fast for that MINI VAN!
Update: I met up with Eric and the 650 stock is faster. I drove his and yep, much more torque. I think mine hits the RPM's faster but overall his is the beast. I am now a real fan of the 650 engine and my next project will be a 650 in a 550. We both hit around 102 in 4th. I was at around 6k or 8k rpms. I need to get the jetting sorted out on mine still. Pops on decel. Slight burble and the plugs are now rich... Not sure if it was the hard riding or not to have that effect on the plugs.

Tews, what mods have you done so far to that 550?
Hellraiser, any mods to the 650?
I ask because I have a CB550 and I bought a set of 750 pistons that have been cut for the 550, gentlemen's express style. I was going to send the head off to have it ported and then slap this together with a 650 cam (already in there).
I also have a stock 650 engine sitting on the floor of my shop. Unknown condition internally, but spins freely and has a set of stock carbs that look fantastic and what I think is a mac header.
Now the 650 put out a claimed 63hp stock and the 550 had a claimed 50hp stock.
If hellraiser has a stock 650 engine and Tews has mods similar to what I am looking at, then it seems to me that the 650 is a better choice. What do you guys think?
I will miss the kickstarter, though. (No, I am not going to build that hybrid... too expensive)
