A friend was digging through old magazines and found this, 1973 Riders Guide for Honda Fours.
Check out the extended forks, my 1973 i just restored had extended forks. I also remember the Lake injectors, I guess I'm showing my age.

Interesting thing about the magazine is that the article content is about 90% and adds are 10%, just the opposite of today's magazines. There is also mention of Lion's Drag Strip, which closed in 1972, for all you Southern California-ites. And for you Yoshimura fans, here's part of the team before Suzuki. Webers on a 750, WOW.

I would be interested in more information about the Checkered Flag Customs brake parts, as I have a CFC right-side magnesium caliper bracket, and this is the first mention I've seen in a print magazine of CFC.

I'm going to take pictures of whole magazine, including the adds, and post. More to come.
I just noticed the binding is stapled, believe it or not, so I might be able to scan it.

I photographed the whole magazine and put it on Photobucket, below is the link. Its fairly high resolution, so the small print is pretty good. I checked the addresses of a few of the adds, some are still in bushiness, most are not, no surprise there. I would like to get it onto a pdf format with a little help from a co-worker, but for now here's 163 pages of pure bliss.
