76 cb550 scrambler
« on: August 29, 2013, 08:26:42 AM »
I am building a scrambler/brat out of a cb550. I was curious if anyone had pictures of ideas about how to hide the battery and wiring when the airbox and battery box is removed. I know that you have to have a battery since the bike will need it even with the kick start. Any help or ideas are welcomed. Thanks

A lot of people put a sealed battery on the swing arm, or under the seat. Should be plenty of posts around here.

Thanks for the link...the one thing that is giving me a hard time is running the flat seat (no rear cafe hump). I would like to avoid building a small box but maybe running the battery on the swing arm is doable.
