With those velocity stacks it WILL need #42 idle jets.
It has been re-jetted right?
#120 mains and slide needle shimmed, or changed to 1976 or 1977 slide needle.

The stacks have a very finely meshed screen in them, probably about 50% restricted. Ive got 127.5 mains in them right now, and it seems to run/idle fine, but I havent gotten around to any plug tuning yet.
