motor year

just want to check on this motor #  what year? model?  can't find link to reference chart.
  # on motor cb750e-106767?  The rebuild kits I got that don't work are Keyster kh-0024NR says it for cb750k1/f1

i think my carbs are NOT 1971K1 CARBS,i was looking at rebuild kits from keyster and the 1975-1976 pics look more like my carb parts!  # on carbs are 7A J1 Keihin,that would explain why bike doesn't run right,is their a chart to find out what these carbs are?

Not sure what carbs you have, but there have been many complaints on the Keyster carb kits. There are better ones out there.

From looking at rebuild kits it seems like i have 1975 carbs on my 1971 k1

I have seen at least 3 different float valves with different tips for 750 carbs.  Be very certain that all are the same across the 4 carbs.

The float valves that came with the rebuild kit are longer at the spring vlier end

Not the worst thing and really shouldn't surprise you unless you paid for a really expensive unrestored K1?

If you have an autozone in your area get a can of valuecraft carb cleaner and soak all the brass in it.  I asked the guy why I can't buy a gallon and he said it is considered "evirmentally hazerdous".  In other words it works!  It will even break the varnish out of piolot jets.  It is only $3 bucks per 12 oz can too.  Best varnish buster out there.

From everything I read carb kits are a disapointment.  I'd just get gaskets soak everything else in the value craft.
