78 cb750k "Thunder road"

Started this project about 3 weeks ago and it's been slow going.

Picked up a 78 and started tearing her down.  P.o. had started a rear cbr f2 conversion and the monoshock angles were off so fixed that first.  We stripped all the wiring and set about finding a front end.  Went with an f2 full front for the dual disc's and forks.  After rebuilding forks set out to get stems swapped.  After completely buggering first one up it was off to junkyard to find another 750 stem to press out.  Got the trick to that down.  Sometimes theory doesn't match reality.  Haha.  After working the steering stops to allow me enough travel and still save me from a tank slapper.  wheels, trees and clip ons are at powdercoating now.

Bike as I brought it home.

As it sits now waiting for reassembly.8
Seat hoop welded up.

I should have more updates this weekend as I get brake and suspension/wheels all reassembled.

I'm struggling with designing oil tank.  Monoshock limits mounting locations but I badly need to clean up triangle.
