Yes it happened again. There I was , in my truck with the trailer on, justa drinkin a cup of coffee , mindin my own business , when just by chance I looked in the rear view, and to my surprise , this old 500 honda is sittin there just like it thought it should be there. What was I to do? Well, I took it home.
Excuse #1 has been over used and doubtful of it's believeability ....No Honey , that's the same machine that I've been working on forever..... I repainted it again...how many times? At least 10 times, yeah I just can't get the color I really want.
Or #2 These bikes should sell pretty quick for a decent profit....What do you mean "When am I going to sell some of them?". Ain't time yet , the value is still going up.
Thought about excuses but the fact is I don't think it matters much as long as the bikes don't get more attention than she does. So around here it's I got it because it was available. Because it was.Got it cheap , because I did, and it keeps me out of trouble, which it does. Sooner or later she'll get tired of that and I'll have to have another rap ready. So I'm just trying some out here to get a better idea what to use.
Any ways, This poor machine has been waiting out in the weather for me for a year and a half. The owner wanted too much for it, told him so and walked. did it again a year ago at a lower price, still too high, This week he asked if I would be interested in a $200 parts bike. Why yes I would ,so with trailer in tow I was off to pick up this
It has a bit of rust on her
It has a baffle free header on one side
And tearing down should be easy ,since allot of it isn't there
Isn't it great!
