Transmission Oil Seal/Plug Help...
« on: September 06, 2013, 11:14:29 AM »
Hey fellas - last week the transmission oil seal/plug (round 1" or so plug next to the shifter shaft and sprocket) started to leak - seemed it was pushing out a bit when the bike was running - not all the way but enough to cause a nasty mess. Anyhow, I just bought a replacement, and was wondering how one is supposed to go about removing and then reinstalling these? Do I need to use sealant on it? Couldn't find much info on them when I was looking...

Thanks,
Justin
