Lurker saying Hello from TdotO
« on: September 03, 2013, 07:14:43 PM »
Hey guys.
I'd just like to say that I never intended to own nor get my motorcycle license as a car wouldve sufficed for the time being.

Fast forward.

A couple of my buddies got bikes which I helped them with. Even though they offered to let me ride their bike prior to obtaining my license, I was reluctant at the time to try their bike because I knew how much time and effort they put into it. I backed off and jumped the gun - went for my license. I fell in love with motorcycles after helping them with their bikes and their passion and love for their machine - I feel the same way with my car.

After I passed my M1 in june, I went and scheduled my M1 exit through RTI the week after. After I passed, I waited the 60 days waiting period to updgrade my license (YAY)

A week after I got my M2, I bought a bike :O I wasn't intending to but due to it's price, I went ahead and bought it. I rented a Uhaul and drove 4 hours just to get my bike ^^

Its a 74 CB 550.

Welcome!

Where are you from since you have M1 and M2 - is there a hp limit associated with M1?

Actually if above 0.05% BA its a Highway Traffic Act Offense where you have a fine, points and an escalating suspension.  If its over 0.08% its a Criminal Offense with much more severe fine and suspension, along with a criminal record.

Welcome, and safe riding.

So, first off, welcome to SOHC/4 and the motorcycle community here...you chose well I think. (being a CB550 owner I can say this...)
Secondly...so TdotO stands for Toronto, Ontario, eh?  learn something new everyday...  Was scratching my head where the _el_ TdotO was located.
