CBR400RR bleeding brakes bloody brakes.

It's not often I can't find the solution to a problem with enough time and pc access and of course good contacts but........this one has me stumped!!!!
I'm still rebuilding my son's 89 CBR400RR and it's coming together nicely apart from the front brakes.
We have replaced the seals, used 2 different sets of calipers, 3 different sets of hoses, 3 different master cyclinder set-ups....but still we cannot get any pressure to the brakes.
I removed the bleed nipples and pumped the lever, now in my world this should have squirted fluid all over the garage but nothing!
At this stage I decided something generic that was shared by all the systems we had used had to be to blame so we bought new crush washers, still nothing.
Anyone got a home test I can use to prove/disprove something here? HELP!!!

Hi Hush,

Are you using a known good master?

I've chased my tail a few times with suspect master cylinders.

If the Master Cylinder is good it has to pump fluid.

Hi Kghost, I've used 3 different masters with the same result? I've used 2 different sets of calipers with same result? I've used 3 different sets of hoses, one being a new set of brainded and still no pressure?
it's seriously doing my head in, not enough to bit the bullet and take it to a bike shop though lol.
At present i'm banking on it being air trapped and have let it sit for a few days.

Use a large cc fluid syringe and fill fluid from the bleeder up to master.

I tried that, I have been talking to our pet mechanic and he has an automatic bleeder he says we can use. Hope that works.

did you bleed from the master down ?  leave everything sealed and crack the banjo nut right at the master etc

i have run into this on a yamaha with duals the only way i could bleed it was to us the rubber band trick on the pull handle and just barely crack the bleeder and leave it over night

as stupid as it sounds make sure the weep hole inside the cup is not plugged shut ..they range in size from piano wire down to about the smallest pin drill
