Rich Condition?
« on: September 05, 2013, 05:53:00 PM »
I pulled the plugs today to see how bad they were and they need to be changed. Question is, do I have a rich condition based on the pics? They are not wet, even though they look like it.

Looking at the electrode, they are gray which doesn't look too bad really. Definitely got a little oil in that one cylinder, some of the crud on the plug tip could be from the spark plug cavity.

Did you do an all around chop or was this idle, 1/4, 1/2, WOT?

You would probably get many more answers and/or views in the sohc4 bikes section, not project shop
