CB-500 Chrome seat trim

Hello, I wanted to give a little info I did on restoring my seat cover on my 1973 CB500. I used the old cover as it was in good shape but the chrome trim was not. If your cover is good but the chrome trim is bad here is a fix, it maybe temp or permanent, time will tell. I used gas tank trim, it has an adhesive in the trim.
I spread the trim and installed over the original trim. Get it warm and it will flex better, careful with heat gun it can ruin the trim if it gets too hot. I clammed it, it took a day for the adhesive to stick.
Here is the trim I used.

p.s. I also used this on my gas tank, thinner than original, but doable
