hilborn injection

I know they still make them if you beg but it's like $3K. When was the last time you saw a hilborn setup? I have seen one and only one.

Anything in the 970 kit. Honda recalled as many of these parts as they could get their hands on.

Vetter Phantom fairing.  :D

Did you know that Hooker drag header was the only one I ever tested that actually increased HP over the HM300 pipes? Noisy thing...

Did you run all the primary extensions?

It had an extension that could be installed, or not, your choice. It made the megaphone longer than the rear wheel when installed, or stopped at the end of the rear brake stay-arm if not. The longer one was the one that made extra power. It would erupt into a shrieking sound at about 7000 RPM rather abruptly, as I remember: this got a lot of attention. That was its 'sweet spot'. The dyno was a truck dyno with a big, heavy roller in the floor, not the best for testing bikes, but we made it work. :)

a buddy of mine had a set of hooker headers for his CL360. They were really nice pipes. The only set I ever saw (and they were high pipes). the coolest part was the hooker heart logo pressed into the heat shield. Come to think of it, that's the only hooker header I have ever seen that wasn't in an old advertisment.

I had a bunch of 970 parts for a while. Stuff is so rare nobody knows what it is or how to price it.

Or the cam! Today Megacycle makes one with similar duration (125-00), but less lift. The one and only CR750 "kit bike" I got to see had a lift of 8.15mm on inlet#1 with the "92 HP cam", as they called it then.

If pics existed of this stuff I'm sure we would try to include them, but in a lot of cases pics of these parts are as rare as finding the parts themselves. Nice try though.

I think RXman got the world's last one, from Germany last year? He searched for 2 years to find it, or something like that.
